It’s a Monday and the tech gremlins were in full force. At least I was drinking some great Ethiopian/Peruvian blend (that I finished off today). I chat about checking out the Tennessee River right down the road, LOTS this way and the continuing saga of the neighbors vs alcohol. Leading off with The Perfect Cup Question “WHAT LIFE LESSON DID YOU LEARN THE HARD WAY?” followed by This Day In History prepared by Pip over at Ducktioncups.com.

In the end, after development of an earlier beverage blending alcohol and cocaine,
this led to the recipe that later was adapted to make Coca-Cola.

Pip’s notes- Much like the “THX SOUND” in the beginning of a movie, we all know those flying stars that circle the mountain by the lake.
-side note- reading that section makes me sound like I’m tripping while camping in the mountains & seeing a group of UFOs…
1927 – Attempting to make the first non-stop transatlantic flight from Paris to
New York, French war heroes Charles Nungesser and François Coli disappear after
taking off aboard The White Bird biplane.

Less than two weeks later, Charles Lindbergh made the New York–Paris journey
in the Spirit of St. Louis.

“Animalcules which cause the Sparkling Light in Sea Water”.
I did a tour of the bio-luminescence on the east coast, a few years ago.
Glow in the dark water, when water is moved. Very trippy & cool.
