Holidays & Celebrations
- Cayman Islands celebrates Constitution Day
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Constitution_Day
- Peru is having Teacher’s Day.
Many countries celebrate their Teachers’ Day on 5 October in conjunction with World Teachers’ Day, which was established by UNESCO in 1994
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Teachers%27_Days
- International Kissing Day (informally observed)
nternational Kissing Day or World Kiss Day is an official holiday celebrated each year on July 6.
The practice originated in the United Kingdom, and was adopted worldwide in the early 2000s.
The concept behind the International Kissing Day is that many people may have forgotten the simple pleasures
associated with kissing for kissing’s sake, as opposed to kissing as mere social formality or prelude to “other activities”.
Pip’s notes – I’m going to decline on posting the wiki link for ‘other activities’.
You can venture there for yourself, and the 1892 painting of… well, I’ll assume we all know.
(wink, wink, nudge nudge) and you’re welcome.
